I get asked a lot about what draws me to yoga. And I try my best to answer fully, truly but it’s so difficult to put into words, and most people don’t have the real time for it.

It is truly inspiring to hear how people plan on using yoga alongside the work they already do.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the Yoga Teacher Training has been the wisdom imparted on us by the Santosha teachers who found their wisdom through their teachers, who found their wisdom through their teachers, and so on and so forth. Getting to participate in this transition of material has been an honor and I wanted to share some with you. These are not direct quotes but rather ideas for you to consider.
The quicker you realize something is not permanent, the quicker you’ll learn to be in the moment and enjoy.
This statement has carried me through Week 1 of my Bali Yoga Teacher Training at Santosha Yoga Institute. I knew this post would be tricky to write because it is impossible to summarize what I’ve learned in the last week and even more difficult to report how I feel about it because… wow.

This perfectly sums up my journey to decide to attend a Santosha Yoga Teacher Training. Attending a yoga instructor course was always just a “one day,”and then after a little research and a LOT of yoga, it became “day one” and my ride began.
