Yoga Nidra is a fully guided meditation practice that restores physical and mental wellbeing through the restorative powers of deep relaxation. While in savasana or ‘corpse pose’ (a supine position of the body) practitioners are guided in a yoga nidra meditation through all body parts, identifying sensations and focusing on the breath while remaining in a state of relaxation.
